Furthermore, the sponsor delegation alluded to General Assembly resolution 55/162 of 14 December 2000 on the follow-up to the outcome of the Millennium Summit, in which the Assembly had called upon all relevant organs, organizations and bodies of the United Nations system to become involved in the follow-up to the Summit.

IV. Conclusions 45. The present report provides an account of the actions taken to date within the framework of CEB to organize inter-agency involvement in the follow-up to the Summit in key areas.

١٣ - أوصى المجلس، في مقرره ١٩٩٦/٢٧ المعنون " مؤتمر القمة العالمي المعني باﻷغذية " ، أمانة برنامج اﻷغذية العالمي بمواصلة جهودها الرامية الى المساهمة في التحضير لمؤتمر القمة العالمي المعني باﻷغذية، كما أوصى برنامج اﻷغذية العالمي بالمشاركة بنشاط في متابعة مؤتمر القمة.

58. The Plan of Implementation of the World Summit on Sustainable Development (Johannesburg Plan of Implementation) called for greater involvement of the Council in sustainable development-related work and outlined the role it could play in the follow-up to the Summit.
58 - ودعا مؤتمر القمة العالمي للتنمية المستدامة (خطة تنفيذ جوهانسبرغ) إلى إشراك المجلس بقدر أكبر في العمل المتصل بتحقيق التنمية المستدامة وشددت على الدور الذي يمكن أن يؤديه في متابعة مؤتمر القمة.

It has requested UN-Water to finalize its terms of reference and modalities of work, including arrangements for progressive and effective participation of non-United Nations actors in the Summit follow-up, bearing in mind relevant guidelines established by CEB (see para. 8 above).
