At the 15th meeting, on 19 October 1995, the representative of the Philippines, on behalf of the States Members of the United Nations that are members of the Group of 77 and China, as well as Mexico and Turkey, introduced a draft resolution entitled " Measures to combat contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance " (A/C.3/50/L.5), which read:

12. At the 18th meeting, on 28 October, the representative of the Philippines, on behalf of the sponsors, orally revised the draft resolution by inserting, in operative paragraph 8, the words " concerned non-governmental organizations " after the words " Invites Governments " .
١٢ - وفي الجلسة ١٨، المعقودة في ٢٨ تشرين اﻷول/أكتوبر، قام ممثل الفلبين بتنقيح مشروع القرار شفويا نيابة عن مقدميه، بأن أدرج، في الفقرة ٨ من المنطوق، عبارة " والمنظمات غير الحكومية المعنية " بعد عبارة " تدعو الحكومات " .

Also, the representative of the Philippines (on behalf of the Group of 77 and China), informed the Committee that it had proposed that the General Assembly add a sub-item to agenda item 95 (Sustainable development and international economic cooperation) entitled " Food and agricultural development " .
كما قام ممثل الفلبين )نيابة عن مجموعة اﻟ ٧٧ والصين( بإبلاغ اللجنة أن المجموعة قد اقترحت أن تقوم الجمعية العامة بإضافة بند فرعي للبند ٩٥ من جدول اﻷعمال )التنمية المستدامة والتعاون الاقتصادي الدولي( عنوانه " الغذاء والتنمية الزراعية " .
