A further important development was that the Congress had approved International Labour Organization Convention No. 169 concerning indigenous peoples, considering that the treaty would strengthen peaceful coexistence in Guatemala, and ratification would be complete as soon as the approval of the executive was obtained.
٣٧ - وتابع كلامه بقوله إنه طـــرأ تطور هام آخر وهو إقرار الكونغرس لاتفاقية منظمة العمل الدولية رقم ١٦٩ المتعلقة بالسكان اﻷصليين، باعتبار أن من شأن المعاهدة أن تعزز التعايش السلمي في غواتيمالا، وإن التصديق عليها سيتم بمجرد موافقة السلطة التنفيذية عليها.

(b) The unanimous adoption by the International Labour Conference, in June 1999, of International Labour Organization Convention No. 182 concerning the Prohibition and Immediate Action for the Elimination of the Worst Forms of Child Labour;
(ب) اعتماد مؤتمر العمل الدولي بالإجماع، في حزيران/يونيه 1999، لاتفاقية منظمة العمل الدولية رقم 182 بشأن حظر أسوأ أشكال عمل الأطفال والإجراءات الفورية للقضاء عليها؛

(a) To ensure that the Labour Code adequately includes the principle of equal pay for work of equal value in all areas of employment and reduces the gender wage gap, in accordance with the International Labour Organization Convention concerning Equal Remuneration for Men and Women Workers for Work of Equal Value (Convention No. 100);
(أ) ضمان أن يكفل قانون العمل على نحو ملائم تضمين مبدأ الأجر المتساوي لقاء العمل المتساوي القيمة في جميع مجالات العمل وأن يخفّض الفجوة في الأجر بين الجنسين، وفقاً لاتفاقية منظمة العمل الدولية المتعلقة بالمساواة بين العمال والعاملات في الأجر عن العمل ذي القيمة المتساوية (الاتفاقية رقم 100)؛

Special measures should be taken to promote community and workplace support for mothers in relation to pregnancy and breastfeeding and feasible and affordable childcare services; and compliance with the International Labour Organization Convention No. 183 (2000) concerning the revision of the Maternity Protection Convention (Revised), 1952.
وينبغي اتخاذ تدابير خاصة لتعزيز الدعم المقدم للأمهات على صعيدي المجتمع المحلي ومكان العمل وذلك فيما يتعلق بالحمل والرضاعة الطبيعية وخدمات رعاية الأطفال المجدية والميسورة التكلفة؛ ولتعزيز الامتثال لاتفاقية منظمة العمل الدولية رقم 183(2000) بشأن مراجعة اتفاقية حماية الأمومة (مراجعة)، لعام 1952.

The Committee also recommends that the State party more effectively monitor instances of child labour in order to ensure its gradual eradication, especially in the context of hazardous work, in accordance with International Labour Organization Convention No. 182 (1999) concerning the worst forms of child labour.
وتوصي اللجنة أيضاً الدولة الطرف بأن ترصد على نحو أكثر فعالية حالات عمل الأطفال من أجل ضمان القضاء على هذا العمل بصورة تدريجية، ولا سيما في سياق الأعمال الخطرة، وفقاً لاتفاقية منظمة العمل الدولية رقم 182(1999) المتعلقة بأسوأ أشكال عمل الأطفال.

36. In the past decade the Government of Ecuador has focused on the progressive implementation of International Labour Organization Convention No. 169. In addition to ratification of the Convention, a chapter on collective rights has been included in the new Political Constitution of 2008.
36 - خلال العقد الأخير، وجهت حكومة إكوادور جهودها نحو التنفيذ التدريجي لاتفاقية منظمة العمل الدولية رقم 169، وفي هذا الصدد، فبالإضافة إلى التصديقات على هذه الاتفاقية، أُدرج في الدستور السياسي الجديد لعام 2008، فصل عن الحقوق الجماعية.

Although the practice of forced labour violated the Forced Labour Convention of 1930 (International Labour Organization, Convention No. 29), it was widespread throughout Myanmar and continued to be practised, despite the repeated condemnation by the General Assembly, the International Labour Organization and other intergovernmental organizations, because the Government had not yet repealed the acts which legitimized it.
ورغم أن العمل القسري مخالف لاتفاقية منظمة العمل الدولية رقم ٢٩ بشأن العمل القسري )١٩٣٠( فهو منتشر على نطاق واسع في ميانمار وسيظل قائما رغم التحذيرات المتكررة الصادرة عن الجمعية العامة ومنظمة العمل الدولية وغيرهما من المنظمات الحكومية الدولية ما دامت الحكومة ترفض إلغاء القوانين التي تجيزه.

The Committee further recommends that the State party adopt legislation in consultation with and the participation of indigenous and Afro-Colombian people, that clearly establishes the right to free, prior and informed consent in conformity with International Labour Organization Convention No. 169 concerning Indigenous and Tribal Peoples in Independent Countries, as well as the relevant decisions of the Constitutional Court.
وتوصي اللجنة كذلك بأن تعتمد الدولة الطرف تشريعاً بالتشاور مع السكان الأصليين والسكان الكولومبيين المنحدرين من أصل أفريقي وبمشاركتهم، ينص بوضوح على الحق في الموافقة الحرة والمسبقة والمستنيرة وفقاً لاتفاقية منظمة العمل الدولية رقم 169 المتعلقة بالشعوب الأصلية والقبلية في البلدان المستقلة، فضلاً عن قرارات المحكمة الدستورية ذات الصلة.

(b) To take immediate action to implement fully concrete legislative, executive and administrative measures to eradicate the practice of forced labour and to implement fully the recommendations of the Commission of Inquiry established to examine the observance by Myanmar of the International Labour Organization Convention concerning Forced or Compulsory Labour (Convention No. 29);
(ب) العمل فورا على التنفيذ الكامل لتدابير تشريعية وتنفيذية وإدارية ملموسة من أجل القضاء على ممارسة العمل القسري، والتنفيذ الكامل لتوصيات لجنة التحقيق المنشأة للنظر في احترام ميانمار لاتفاقية منظمة العمل الدولية المتعلقة بالسخرة أو العمل القسري (الاتفاقية رقم 29)؛

(d) Supporting and participating in the global campaign for the immediate elimination of the worst forms of child labour, including by promoting universal ratification and implementation of International Labour Organization Convention No. 182 concerning the Prohibition and Immediate Action for the Elimination of the Worst Forms of Child Labour;
(د) دعم الحملة العالمية للقضاء الفوري على أسوأ أشكال عمل الأطفال والمشاركة فيها، بما في ذلك التشجيع على إتمام التصديق والتنفيذ العالميين لاتفاقية منظمة العمل الدولية رقم 182 بشأن حظر أسوأ أشكال عمل الأطفال واتخاذ إجراءات فورية للقضاء عليها؛

The Committee draws the State party's attention to its general recommendation XXIII (1997) on the rights of indigenous peoples, and reminds it of the relevance of International Labour Organization Convention No. 169 concerning indigenous and tribal peoples to Suriname's particular circumstances.

Decree No. 23/1976 recognized the disabled persons' right to work in accordance with the International Labour Office Convention on Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment (Disabled Persons) (No. 159, 1983).
والمرسوم رقم 23 لعام 1976 يعترف بحق العمل للمعوقين، وفقا لاتفاقية منظمة العمل الدولية المتصلة بإعادة تكييف المعوقين مهنيا وتشغيلهم (الاتفاقية رقم 159 لعام 1983).
