The present document contains input received as at 31 December 2004 from organs, funds and programmes of the United Nations system, as well as intergovernmental organizations (IGOs) accredited to the Conference of the Parties (COP).

This is remarkable given that currently approximately 900 CSOs and STIs are accredited by the COP to participate in Convention processes.
