1. Notes with satisfaction the report of the Secretary-General,1 and endorses the recommendations of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions thereon;2

The Fifth Committee will examine during the second resumed part of the sixty-eighth session of the Assembly both a detailed statement of the programme budget implications arising from the draft resolution and the report of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions thereon.
وخلال الجزء الثاني من الدورة الثامنة والستين المستأنفة للجمعية، ستنظر اللجنة الخامسة في بيان تفصيلي للآثار المترتبة في الميزانية البرنامجية على مشروع القرار، وفي تقرير اللجنة الاستشارية لشؤون الإدارة والميزانية بشأنه.

The General Assembly decides to defer to its fifty-ninth session consideration of the report of the Secretary-General on the participation of United Nations Volunteers in peacekeeping operations and the report of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions thereon.
تقرر الجمعية العامة أن ترجئ إلى دورتها التاسعة والخمسين النظر في تقرير الأمين العام بشأن مشاركة متطوعي الأمم المتحدة في عمليات حفظ السلام()، وتقرير اللجنة الاستشارية لشؤون الإدارة والميزانية() بشأنه.

2. By resolution 56/239 of 24 December 2001, the General Assembly requested the Secretary-General to resubmit the plan of action for consideration at its fifty-seventh session, taking into account the observations and recommendations of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions thereon and, inter alia:
2 - وطلبت الجمعية العامة في القرار 56/239 المؤرخ 24 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2001 إلى الأمين العام أن يقدم خطة العمل من جديد لتنظر فيها الجمعية في دورتها السابعة والخمسين، آخذا في اعتباره ملاحظات وتوصيات اللجنة الاستشارية لشؤون الإدارة والميزانية بشأنه() وأن يعمل، في جملة أمور، على ما يلي:
