The Mission supported the Government in advancing the disarmament, demobilization and reintegration of residual Congolese armed elements in the eastern part of the country and in supporting the disarmament, demobilization, repatriation, reinsertion and reintegration of foreign armed groups, with particular attention paid to women and children.
