His country would continue to support the work of UNCTAD and would call for sufficient financing to be ensured for development matters, so that UNCTAD could play a vital role in the intellectual reorganization of the international Economic System.
وأوضح أن بلده سيواصل دعم عمل الأونكتاد وسيدعو إلى ضمان تمويل المسائل الإنمائية، حتى يتمكن الأونكتاد من القيام بدور حيوي في إعادة التنظيم الفكري للمنظومة الاقتصادية الدولية.

In conclusion, the CARICOM member States reiterate their support for the Latin American Economic System, but likewise they are looking forward to concerted actions by that institution to assist them in their efforts to integrate effectively into the global economy.

Urges the United Nations Development Programme to strengthen and broaden its support to the programmes that the Permanent Secretariat of the Latin American Economic System is carrying out, aimed at complementing the technical assistance activities conducted by the Latin American Economic System;

Regarding operative paragraphs 3 and 4, we note that the resolution urges the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the specialized agencies and other organizations, funds and programmes of the United Nations system to renew their contribution and to intensify their support for, and cooperation with, the Latin American Economic System.

Last month in Caracas, we held the nineteenth regular annual session of the Latin American Council, SELA's supreme body.
