6 - ليس في هذه الاتفاقية ما يمس بالمبدأ القائل بأن توصيف الأفعال المجرمة وفقا لهذه الاتفاقية وتوصيف الدفوع القانونية المنطبقة أو المبادئ القانونية الأخرى التي تحكم مشروعية السلوك، محفوظ حصرا لقانون الدولة الطرف الداخلي، وبوجوب ملاحقة تلك الجرائم والمعاقبة عليها وفقا لذلك القانون.

The Conference reaffirms that nothing contained in the Convention shall be interpreted as in any way limiting or detracting from the obligations assumed by any state under the 1925 Geneva Protocol.
ويعيد المؤتمر التأكيد على أن ليس في هذه الاتفاقية ما يمكن تأويله على أنه يحد أو ينتقص بأي حال من الأحوال من الالتزامات التي تتحملها أية دولة بموجب بروتوكول جنيف لعام 1925.
