Those governorates are served by centres (three in Hadramawt, four in Lahij, two each in Abyan and Rimah, and one in Ma'rib) providing inpatient services. They are located in remote areas for the most part, with the exception of the centre in Ma'rib, which is located in the city of Ma'rib.

The Commission found that on the correct interpretation of the relevant treaty, the boundary, from the point at which it leaves the Setit River (point 6) to where it joins the Mareb River (point 9), ran in part across the Badme plain.
فقد وجدت اللجنة في ضوء التفسير الصحيح للمعاهدة ذات الصلة أن الحدود كانت تمـر جزئيا عبـر سهل بادمي انطلاقا من النقطة التي تمتد فيها من نهر ستيت (النقطة 6) إلى النقطة التي تصل فيها إلى نهر مأرب (النقطة 9).

Attacks on public infrastructures continued; a gas pipeline was bombed on 15 October in retaliation against the extrajudiciary killing of alleged Al-Qaida members, including two children under 18 years, in Shabwah governorate; and the electricity line from Mareb to Sanaa was repeatedly sabotaged (twice in 24 hours in January 2012).
