19. At its 5th meeting, on 9 May, the Committee considered the application of United Nations Watch, an organization consideration of whose application had been deferred at the 2000 session of the Committee.

679. UN Watch welcomed and encouraged Micronesia's commitment to work on 70 of 73 recommendations.

UN Watch commended Micronesia for its courage, conviction and resolve to uphold the principles of General Assembly resolution 60/251, which created the Human Rights Council.
