It is important to spend a moment on the problem of securing full cooperation with the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 and with respect to bringing war criminals to justice.

As far as cooperation with the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia is concerned, the Government of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia has taken a position that all war crimes are punishable in accordance with domestic legislation and the international conventions it has ratified.

Serbia stated that its cooperation with the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia was based on its Law on Cooperation with the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991.

Reminds all States of their obligation to cooperate with the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 and also with the Office of the Prosecutor in the investigation and prosecution of persons accused of using rape as a weapon of war;

(e) The Committee urges Croatia to continue to cooperate with the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 to ensure that alleged war criminals within its jurisdiction are brought to justice pursuant to the Dayton peace accord;

١١ - تدعو جميع الدول إلى التعاون مع المحكمة الدولية لمحاكمة اﻷشخاص المسؤولين عن الانتهاكات الجسيمة للقانون الانساني الدولي التي ارتكبت في اقليم يوغوسلافيا السابقة منذ عام ١٩٩١ ومع مكتب المدعي العام في التحقيق مع اﻷشخاص المتهمين باستخدام الاغتصاب كسلاح للحرب ومقاضاتهم، وفي توفير الحماية والمشورة والدعم إلى الضحايا والشهود؛

In one area of great importance to the United Nations - cooperation with the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 - four of the five signatories to annex 1A of the Peace Agreement have yet to comply with their basic undertakings in the Agreement.
