وقُبل الطلبة الذين لا يحملون شهادات جامعية أو ليست لديهم خبرة عمل مهنية اذا كانوا مشتركين بنشاط في أنشطة ذات صلة بالفضاء في أوطانهم أو في المجلس الاستشاري لجيل الفضاء أو اذا كانوا قد شاركوا مشاركة نشطة في أعمال ملتقى جيل الفضاء أثناء اليونيسبيس الثالث.

They also examined additional projects that could serve to implement some of the recommendations contained in " The Space Millennium: Vienna Declaration on Space and Human Development " , adopted by UNISPACE III, and in the report of the Space Generation Forum, organized by and for young professionals and students during UNISPACE III.

It was emphasized that the youth of what is being called " the space generation " were an agent for change and that the results of the Space Generation Forum and the previous symposium held in Graz, Austria, in 2000, amply demonstrated that fact.
وشدد على أن الشباب، فيما يطلق عليه اسم " جيل الفضاء " هم واسطة لإحداث التغيير، وذلك ما شهدت عليه بوضوح نتائج ملتقى جيل الفضاء والندوة السابقة التي انعقدت في غراتس، النمسا، عام 2000.

The participants, some of whom had attended the Space Generation Forum at UNISPACE III and the 2000 symposium at Graz, Austria, participated in working groups by geographic regions in sessions 5 and 6.

17. The participation of young people was another major element contributing to the success of UNISPACE III. Young people contributed to the work of the Conference through discussions held during the Space Generation Forum, organized by and for young professionals and university students.
17 - كانت مشاركة الشباب عنصرا رئيسيا آخر ساعد على نجاح اليونيسبيس الثالث. فقد أسهم الشباب في أعمال المؤتمر من خلال المناقشات التي عقدت أثناء " ملتقى جيل الفضاء " الذي نظم من جانب الأخصائيين الفنيين الشباب وطلاب الجامعات ومن أجلهم.

18. At the thirty-seventh session of the Scientific and Technical Subcommittee, the Working Group of the Whole noted that the Youth Advisory Council, a voluntary body, had been formed to facilitate the implementation of various initiatives proposed by the Space Generation Forum.
18 - وفي الدورة السابعة والثلاثين للجنة الفرعية العلمية والتقنية، نوه الفريق العامل الجامع بأن المجلس الاستشاري لشؤون الشباب، وهو هيئة طوعية، قد أنشىء من أجل تيسير تنفيذ مختلف المبادرات التي اقترحها ملتقى جيل الفضاء.

Secondly, it was decided to replace the word " Youth " with the words " Space Generation " to take advantage of the goodwill and respect associated with that name that had resulted from the success of the Space Generation Forum at UNISPACE III. As a result, the new organization was established as the United Nations Programme on Space Applications Space Generation Advisory Council.
وتقرر ثانيا أن يستعاض عن كلمة " الشباب " بعبارة " جيل الفضاء " بغية الاستفادة من حسن النية والاحترام المرافقين لذلك الاسم الذي نتج عن نجاح ملتقى جيل الشباب أثناء اليونيسبيس الثالث. ونتيجة لذلك، أنشئت المنظمة الجديدة باسم المجلس الاستشاري لجيل الفضاء التابع لبرنامج الأمم المتحدة للتطبيقات الفضائية.

(a) Asociación Latinoamericana del Espacio (ALE): to develop a strategy to further the growth of ALE and, by doing so, to fulfil one of the recommendations of the Space Generation Forum on a vision of the future (A/CONF.184/L.14);

71- في أعقاب برنامج العمل المقرر للندوة، عقد الأعضاء المؤقتون للمجلس الاستشاري لشؤون الشباب، ومنظمته الأم اليونيب، والمشاركون في ملتقى جيل الشباب وفي الندوة، اجتماعات مسائية يومية لضمان وضع نظام أساسي لمنظمة جديدة تحل محل المجلس الاستشاري لشؤون الشباب بحيث يكون نظاما سليما وذا معنى بالنسبة الى مهمة المنظمة.

6. In 1999, in connection with the Third United Nations Conference on the Exploration and Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (UNISPACE III), held in Vienna from 19 to 30 July 1999, the sixth United Nations/Austria/ESA symposium in Graz concentrated on the worldwide vision of youth concerning the future of space development, as expressed by the recently formed Space Generation Forum.
6- وفي عام 1999، بصدد مؤتمر الأمم المتحدة الثالث المعني باستكشاف الفضاء الخارجي واستخدامه في الأغراض السلمية، المعقود في فيينا من 19 إلى 30 تموز/يوليه 1999، ركّزت الندوة السادسة المشتركة بين الأمم المتحدة والنمسا ووكالة الفضاء الأوروبية المعقودة في غراتس على رؤية الشباب العالمية بشأن مستقبل تنمية الفضاء، على النحو الذي أعرب عنه ملتقى جيل الفضاء الحديث الإنشاء في ذلك الوقت.

1. A Pakistani youth was selected by the national space agency, the Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO), to participate in the Space Generation Forum of the Third United Nations Conference on the Exploration and Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (UNISPACE III) and made an effective representation at the Forum by putting forward creative ideas and recommendations that were adopted by the Forum.
1- لقد اختارت وكالة الفضاء الباكستانية، وهي اللجنة الباكستانية لبحوث الفضاء والغلاف الجوي العلوي (سوباركو)، شابا باكستانيا للمشاركة في ملتقى جيل الفضاء في اطار مؤتمر الأمم المتحدة الثالث المعني باستكشاف الفضاء الخارجي واستخدامه في الأغراض السلمية (اليونيسبيس الثالث)، وقام ذلك الشاب بدور تمثيلي فعّال في الملتقى حيث انه عرض أفكارا خلاقة وتوصيات اعتمدها الملتقى.
