7. COE/ECRI mentioned that there is no independent body specializing in the protection of human rights and/or in combating racism and racial discrimination in Monaco and that it was informed by the Monegasque authorities that they are considering setting up a human rights institution.

It recommended that the Monegasque authorities set up, as soon as possible, an independent body specializing in the protection of human rights, whose tasks will include combating racism and racial discrimination.

9. COE/ECRI recommended that the Monegasque authorities step up their efforts to include human rights education in general, and education for combating racism and racial discrimination in particular, including through a cross-disciplinary approach, in the Principality's school curricula.
