The most salient were an emerging joint work programme with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), collaboration on drought with the International Strategy for Disaster Reduction and an agreement with the United Nations Forum on Forests to work on issues related to dry forests and reducing emissions from deforestation and forest degradation.
