In decision RC-6/2, on exchanging information on exports and export notifications, the Conference of the Parties requested the Secretariat to prepare questionnaires for the collection of the information indicated in paragraphs 6 and 7 of the note by the Secretariat and invited parties to gather such information and to complete the questionnaires using that information.

The Co-Chair subsequently reported that the work of the friends of the Co-Chairs group had produced no agreement on a draft decision but had resulted in the revision of paragraph 6 of the note by the Secretariat on the further development of programmes for sustainable ship recycling and development of the guidelines for the Hong Kong Convention.
