In its previous resolution on the strategic deployment stocks, resolution 56/292, the Assembly had requested the Secretary-General to report on an annual basis on the award of contracts for procurement for the strategic deployment stocks to all Member States, in particular to developing, least developed and African countries and countries with economies in transition.
وكانت الجمعية قد طلبت إليه في قرارها السابق 56/292 أن يقدم تقارير سنوية عن منح عقود مشتريات مخزونات النشر الاستراتيجي لجميع الدول الأعضاء، ولا سيما البلدان النامية وأقل البلدان نموا والبلدان الأفريقية والبلدان التي تمر اقتصاداتها بمرحلة انتقالية.

10. The present report includes the procurement contracts for SDS awarded to all Member States, in particular to developing, least developed and African countries and countries with economies in transition.
10 - يعرض هذا التقرير لعقود مشتريات مخزونات النشر الاستراتيجي الممنوحة إلى جميع الدول الأعضاء، ولاسيما البلدان النامية وأقل البلدان نموا والبلدان الأفريقية والبلدان التي تمر اقتصاداتها بمرحلة انتقالية.

41. The Committee points out that information provided in response to General Assembly resolution 56/292, on the procurement contracts for strategic deployment stocks awarded to all Member States, in particular to developing, least developed and African countries and countries with economies in transition could be more useful.
41 - تشير اللجنة إلى أن المعلومات المقدمة استجابة لقرار الجمعية العامة 56/292، بشأن منح عقود مشتريات مخزونات النشر الاستراتيجي إلى جميع الدول الأعضاء، وعلى وجه الخصوص البلدان النامية وأقل البلدان نموا والبلدان الأفريقية والبلدان التي تمر اقتصاداتها بمرحلة انتقالية، يمكن الاستفادة منها بشكل أفضل.

Consideration should therefore be given to according preferential treatment in that regard to the developing countries, especially the least developed countries and the African countries.
وينبغي لذلك الاهتمام بمنح معاملة تفضيلية في هذا الصدد للبلدان النامية، لا سيما أقل البلدان نموا والبلدان اﻷفريقية.
