Mr. President, as I have already conveyed to you informally, my delegation also received instructions last week to support the proposal which was made some time ago by Ambassador Hofer of Switzerland and which is contained in document CD/1567, which would decide to admit Ecuador, Ireland, Kazakhstan, Malaysia and Tunisia as members of the Conference on Disarmament.
