In 2012, the field of responsibility of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs was significantly strengthened in relation to human rights.
ففي عام 2012، عُزّز نطاق مسؤولية وزارة الشؤون الخارجية والأوروبية كثيراً فيما يتعلق بحقوق الإنسان.

In 2012 many competences in the area of human rights were assigned to the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs.

The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs presides over the Standing Coordination Group's work.

The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs hosted an international meeting on the mitigation of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear threats in Zagreb on 4 October 2012.

At the 8th meeting, on 11 March, presentations were made by Serge Tomasi, Director of Global Economy and Development Strategies of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of France and Co-Chair of the G-20 Development Working Group and by Vanu Gopala Menon, Permanent Representative of Singapore to the United Nations and Convener of the Global Governance Group.

38. Another related activity that the MFEA has been involved in since 2013 is the artistic -- literary competition for pupils of elementary schools and eight-year secondary schools " Human Rights through the Eyes of Children " .
