The following chart reflects the use of further means of direct dialogue foreseen by the terms of reference.

Twenty States parties under review had indicated that they would request or consider requesting further means of direct dialogue.
وأشارت 20 دولةً طرفاً مستعرَضة إلى أنها ستطلب مزيدا من وسائل الحوار المباشر أو أنها تنظر في طلب هذه الوسائل.

In the 26 country reviews, as at 12 September 2011, the following further means of direct dialogue foreseen in the terms of reference had been used:

In finalizing the guidelines, the understanding of the Group was that paragraphs 24-29 addressed further means of direct dialogue, which according to paragraph 29 of the terms of reference was optional.

Where the State party under review requested further means of direct dialogue, i.e. a country visit or joint meeting at the United Nations Office at Vienna, in accordance with paragraphs 29 of the terms of reference and 24 of the guidelines, the secretariat secured funding from voluntary contributions for one of these means of direct dialogue.
51- وفي الحالات التي طلبت فيها الدولة الطرف المستعرَضة وسائل حوار مباشر أخرى، كإجراء زيارة قُطرية أو عقد اجتماع مشترك في مكتب الأمم المتحدة في فيينا، وفقاً للفقرة 29 من الإطار المرجعي والفقرة 24 من المبادئ التوجيهية، وفَّرت الأمانة تمويلاً من التبرُّعات من أجل استخدام إحدى وسائل الحوار المباشر تلك.

In the meeting of the extended Bureau held on 20 February 2012, the secretariat raised issues with regard to delays in confirmation of participation and to requests for funding for participation of governmental experts in means of direct dialogue from countries other than developing countries.
وفي اجتماع المكتب الموسَّع الذي عُقد في 20 شباط/فبراير 2012، أثارت الأمانة القضايا المتعلقة بحالات التأخير في تأكيد المشاركة وبطلبات التمويل اللازم لمشاركة الخبراء الحكوميين في وسائل الحوار المباشر من بلدان أخرى غير البلدان النامية.

In addition to those further means of direct dialogue, informal trilateral meetings were held with the agreement of the State party under review in the margins of sessions of the Implementation Review Group and the meetings of the Working Group on Asset Recovery and the Working Group on the Prevention of Corruption.
34- وبالإضافة إلى وسائل الحوار المباشر الأخرى هذه، عُقدت اجتماعات ثلاثية غير رسمية بموافقة الدولة الطرف المستعرَضة على هامش دورات فريق استعراض التنفيذ واجتماعات الفريق العامل المعني باسترداد الموجودات والفريق العامل المعني بمنع الفساد.

Several States parties under review indicated at the outset or during the review process, depending on the timeline of each step foreseen in the terms of reference and the guidelines and in order to facilitate the work of the reviewing experts, that the outcome of the desk review could be presented during the conduct of further means of direct dialogue.
73- وأشارت عدة دول أطراف مستعرَضة عند بداية عملية الاستعراض أو أثناءها، حسب الجدول الزمني لكل خطوة منصوص عليها في الإطار المرجعي والمبادئ التوجيهية وبغية تيسير عمل خبراء الاستعراض، إلى إمكانية تقديم نتائج الاستعراض المكتبي خلال استخدام وسائل الحوار المباشر الأخرى.
