4. Mr. HOFFMAN (Germany), introducing draft resolution A/C.1/48/L.2, recalled that the Committee had last dealt with the topic of " Transparency of military expenditures " in 1991, when it had adopted a resolution without a vote.
٤ - السيد هوفمــان )ألمانيا(: اشار عند تقديمه لمشــروع القرار A/C.1/48/L.2، إلى أن آخــر مرة تناولت فيها اللجنة موضوع " وضوح النفقات العسكرية " كانت في عام ١٩٩١، عندما اعتمدت قرارا بدون تصويت.

31. The CHAIRMAN said that if there were no objections he would take it that the Committee wished to adopt draft resolution A/C.1/48/L.2/Rev.1 entitled " Transparency of military expenditures " without a vote, as the sponsors had requested.

On 25 October 1993, Germany and Romania submitted a draft resolution, entitled " Reduction of military budgets: Transparency of military expenditures " (A/C.1/48/L.2), which read as follows:
