19. The Workshop noted that the United Nations treaties and principles on outer space contained practical benefits that applied both to space-faring and non-space-faring nations.

The Workshop aimed to promote understanding, acceptance and implementation of the United Nations treaties and principles on outer space, promote exchange of information on domestic space laws and policies and consider opportunities for education and training in space law, with a view to promoting national expertise and capability in the field.

As to the space activities of the Czech Republic, all have been carried out in full conformity with the United Nations treaties and principles on outer space and the recommendations included in General Assembly resolutions relating to outer space.

The Workshop provided participants with an overview of the United Nations treaties and principles on outer space and addressed the development of national space laws and policies.
7- وزوّدت حلقة العمل المشاركين بنظرة إجمالية على معاهدات الأمم المتحدة ومبادئها المتعلقة بالفضاء الخارجي وتناولت تطور قوانين وسياسات الفضاء.

The Subcommittee noted with appreciation that the Workshop had promoted the understanding, acceptance and implementation of the United Nations treaties and principles on outer space, especially in Latin America and the Caribbean.
51- ولاحظت اللجنة الفرعية مع التقدير أن حلقة العمل تلك ساعدت على فهم وقبول وتنفيذ معاهدات الأمم المتحدة ومبادئها المتعلقة بالفضاء الخارجي، لا سيما في أمريكا اللاتينية والكاريبـي.

Those delegations were of the view that the legal framework governing global space activities would be strengthened through increased participation in and adherence to the existing United Nations treaties and principles on outer space and that the preparation of a comprehensive convention was not desirable.
ورأت تلك الوفود أن الإطار القانوني الذي ينظم أنشطة الفضاء العالمية سيتعزز من خلال زيادة المشاركة في معاهدات الأمم المتحدة ومبادئها المتعلقة بالفضاء الخارجي القائمة حاليا وزيادة الانضمام إليها وأن إعداد اتفاقية شاملة ليس أمرا مستصوبا.
