We must also pay tribute to the United Nations for preserving our cause and extending a helping hand to our people through its resolutions and decisions, which constitute an unshakeable foundation for peace. from this rostrum, we call on the United Nations to continue its pivotal role until justice is upheld, our people have regained their usurped rights and peace prevails in our entire region.
لكننا نجد من الواجب أن نخص بالشكر الأمم المتحدة فهي التي صانت قضيتنا ومدت يد العون لشعبنا وشرّعت من الأحكام والقرارات ما شكل أساسا لا يمكن تجاوزه في البحث عن الحل ومن هذا المنبر ندعوها إلى مواصلة دورها المحوري حتى يتم إحقاق الحق وينال شعبنا ما استلب من حقوقه ويسود السلام منطقتنا بأسرها.

from this podium, I again call upon the international parties concerned with the Middle East peace process to bear their responsibilities and to pressure Israel to compel it to comply with all United Nations resolutions and cease settlement activity. In this regard, I commend the efforts of the United States of America and its role in the resumption of negotiations in the Middle East peace process
ومن هذا المنبر أجدد الدعوة إلى الأطراف الدولية المعنية بعملية السلام في الشرق الأوسط لتحمل مسؤولياتها، والضغط على إسرائيل لحملها على الانصياع لكافة قرارات الشرعية الدولية ووقف الاستيطان، مشيدين في هذا الصدد بجهد الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية ودورها باستئناف التفاوض لعملية السلام في الشرق الأوسط.
