٢٥ - أما الكتاب المعنون " التحولات العالمية " فهو نتاج المناقشصات المكثفة التي دارت بشأن الورقات التي قدمت في ندوة عقدت في يوكوهاما، اليابان، في ١٩٩٢ وحوار المتخصصين، في إطار شبكة برنامج جامعة اﻷمم المتحدة.

Egypt also reported in its submission to the Second Session of Preparatory Committee in 2003 that it had participated in a symposium held in Cairo in February 2003 that was jointly organized by the League of Arab States and the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research (UNIDIR).

At the invitation of the Danish Institute for Human Rights, the NI Unit participated with the Human Rights Presidency of Turkey, the Council of Europe, the New Zealand Human Rights Commission and the Parliamentary Commission for the Rights of National and Ethnic Minorities of Hungary in a symposium held in Turkey from 1 to 3 December 2004.

D. United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization 50. In 2008, UNESCO published a collection of all the papers presented at a symposium, held in March 2006 on the occasion of UNESCO's sixtieth anniversary, entitled " UNESCO: sixty years of standard-setting in education, science and culture " .
