Initial recommendations in this regard were presented in the report of the Secretary-General entitled " Accelerating progress towards the Millennium Development Goals: options for sustained inclusive growth and issues for advancing the United Nations development agenda beyond 2015 " (A/67/257), with special reference to the need for an open and inclusive process of consultations on the agenda.
وقدِّمت التوصيات الأولية في هذا الصدد في تقرير الأمين العام المعنون " التعجيل بالتقدم نحو تحقيق الأهداف الإنمائية للألفية: خيارات من أجل النمو المستمر والشامل والقضايا المتعلقة بالنهوض بخطة الأمم المتحدة للتنمية إلى ما بعد عام 2015 " (A/67/257)، مع الإشارة بوجه خاص إلى ضرورة وجود عملية تشاور مفتوحة وشاملة بشأن الخطة.

III. advancing the United Nations development agenda beyond 2015
ثالثا - النهوض بخطة الأمم المتحدة للتنمية لما بعد عام 2015

Strategic integration is also essential to promoting a coherent and coordinated implementation process for the internationally agreed development goals in the context of advancing the United Nations development agenda beyond 2015 (subject to approval by the General Assembly).
والتكامل الاستراتيجي أساسي أيضا لتعزيز الاتساق والتنسيق في عملية تنفيذ الأهداف الإنمائية المتفق عليها دولياً في سياق النهوض بخطة الأمم المتحدة للتنمية لما بعد عام 2015 (رهنا باعتماد الجمعية العامة للخطة).

2. The Secretary-General's report on advancing the United Nations development agenda beyond 2015 (A/68/202) had identified the major challenges that had emerged since the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) had been agreed and acknowledged the importance for development of effective governance based on the rule of law and transparent institutions.
2 - وأشار أن إلى تقرير الأمين العام بشأن النهوض بخطة الأمم المتحدة للتنمية لما بعد عام 2015 (A/68/202) حدد التحديات الرئيسية التي بزغت منذ الموافقة على الأهداف الإنمائية للألفية، وأقر بأهمية تطوير حوكمة فعالة تستند إلى سيادة القانون ومؤسسات فعالة.

Making headway on this issue is becoming increasingly important at a time when Southern donors are playing a more prominent role in advancing the United Nations development agenda.
