60. For each COP, the secretariat prepares a document reviewing progress made by affected country Parties in implementation of the Convention, in which the secretariat elaborates on the execution of its function, with particular emphasis on its assistance to affected developing country Parties, particularly those in Africa, in the compilation and communication of information required under the Convention.
