5. The President suggested the following distribution of chairmanships for the subsidiary bodies established under the Main Committees of the Conference: Main Committee I would be chaired by the New Agenda Coalition, Main Committee II by the Western European and Other Group, and Main Committee III by the Non-Aligned Movement.
5- الرئيس: اقترح التوزيع التالي لرئاسة الهيئات الفرعية التي أنشئت في إطار اللجان الرئيسية للمؤتمر: اللجنة الرئيسية الأولى، يرأسها ائتلاف البرنامج الجديد، واللجنة الرئيسية الثانية، ترأسها مجموعة دول أوروبا الغربية ودول أخرى، واللجنة الرئيسية الثالثة، ترأسها حركة عدم الانحياز.

49. The President recalled that, at its third session, the Preparatory Committee had agreed to recommend that Main Committee I should be chaired by a representative of Zimbabwe, Main Committee II should be chaired by a representative of Ukraine and Main Committee III should be chaired by a representative of Japan.
49 - الرئيس: ذكّر بأن اللجنة التحضيرية قد وافقت، في دورتها الثالثة، على التوصية بأن يرأس اللجنةَ الرئيسية الأولى ممثل لزمبابوي، واللجنةَ الرئيسية الثانية ممثل لأوكرانيا، واللجنة الرئيسية الثالثة ممثل لليابان.

The Working Group agreed to refer other material relating to nuclear-weapon-free zones contributed by delegations, as contained in the annex to the present section, to the Working Group jointly established by Main Committee I and Main Committee II to consider nuclear-weapon-free zones in all their aspects.

9. At its 6th meeting, on 9 July, on the proposal of the President, the Conference approved its provisional programme of work for two weeks, from 9 to 20 July, by which it established two main committees, namely Main Committee 1, chaired by Bouchaib Eloumni (Morocco), and Main Committee 2, chaired by Paul van den Ijssel (Netherlands), to conduct negotiations on the elements of the arms trade treaty.
