In paragraph 7 of the decision, the Council decided that the governing body would ensure the active participation of all relevant stakeholders, particularly those from developing countries, drawing on best practices and models from relevant multilateral institutions and would explore new mechanisms to promote transparency and the effective engagement of civil society in its work and that of its subsidiary bodies by, inter alia:

وإذ تشير أيضاً إلى المقرر 27/2 الصادر عن مجلس الإدارة لكونه يتعلق بالمشاركة الفعالة لجميع أصحاب المصلحة ذوي الصلة، وخصوصاً أصحاب المصلحة من البلدان النامية، والاستفادة من أفضل الممارسات والنماذج من المؤسسات المتعددة الأطراف ذات الصلة، والحاجة لاستكشاف آليات جديدة لتعزيز الشفافية والمشاركة الفعالة من المجتمع المدني في عمل المجلس وعمل هيئاته الفرعية،

As the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development affirmed, the strengthening of partnerships must include major groups as a key contributor to the implementation of environmental commitments and in engaging relevant stakeholders in new mechanisms to promote transparency based on best practices and models from relevant multilateral institutions.
وعلى النحو الذي أكّده مؤتمر الأمم المتحدة للتنمية المستدامة، فلا بد من أن يشمل تعزيزُ الشراكات مجموعات رئيسية من قبيل المساهمين الرئيسيين في تنفيذ الالتزامات البيئية، وفي إشراك أصحاب المصلحة المعنيين في وضع آليات جديدة لتعزيز الشفافية بالاعتماد على أفضل الممارسات والنماذج المتوافرة لدى المؤسسات المعنية المتعددة الأطراف.
