It also welcomes the efforts being made to provide training to judges in the applicable international human rights standards.

Acknowledging the centrality of applicable international human rights law and standards in the development and implementation of reception policies,

The Special Rapporteur reiterates that, at the same time, governmental actions should be proportionate, abide by the rule of law and respect the applicable international human rights standards.
