Noting that the Ad Hoc Committee on the Establishment of an International Criminal Court has made considerable progress during its sessions on the review of the major substantive and administrative issues arising out of the draft statute prepared by the International Law Commission,
وإذ تحيط علما بأن اللجنة المخصصة ﻹنشاء محكمة جنائية دولية قد أحرزت تقدما ملموسا خلال دوراتها فيما يتعلق باستعراض القضايا الفنية واﻹدارية الرئيسية الناشئة عن مشروع النظام اﻷساسي الذي أعدته لجنة القانون الدولي،

The General Assembly, in its resolution 49/53 of 9 December 1994, decided to establish an ad hoc committee to review the major substantive and administrative issues arising out of the draft statute prepared by the International Law Commission and, in light of that review, to consider arrangements for the convening of an international conference of plenipotentiaries.

The Ad Hoc Committee on the Establishment of an International Criminal Court met from 3 to 13 April and from 14 to 25 August 1995, during which time the Committee reviewed the issues arising out of the draft statute prepared by the International Law Commission and considered arrangements for the convening of an international conference.
٦ - واجتمعت اللجنة المخصصة ﻹنشاء محكمة جنائية دولية في الفترتين من ٣ إلى ٣١ نيسان/أبريل ومن ٤١ إلى ٥٢ آب/أغسطس ٥٩٩١، واستعرضت خلالهما القضايا الناشئة عن مشروع النظام اﻷساسي الذي أعدته لجنة القانون الدولي، ونظرت في الترتيبات اللازمة لعقد مؤتمر دولي.

The Ad Hoc Committee on the Establishment of an International Criminal Court met from 3 to 13 April and from 14 to 25 August 1995, during which time the Committee reviewed the issues arising out of the draft statute prepared by the International Law Commission and considered arrangements for the convening of an international conference.

In accordance with its mandate, the Preparatory Committee discussed the major substantive and administrative issues arising out of the draft statute and proceeded to consider draft texts, with a view to preparing a widely acceptable consolidated text of a convention for an international criminal Court.

In 1994, the General Assembly had decided to establish an Ad Hoc Committee to review the major substantive and administrative issues arising out of the draft statute for an international criminal court prepared by the International Law Commission and, in light of that review, to consider arrangements for the convening of an international conference of plenipotentiaries.
