9 - عُدلت القاعدة 307-4، بدل الإقامة، لإضفاء الطابع الرسمي على ممارسة عُمل بها طويلا والتي بموجبها لا يدفع بدل إقامة للموظفين أثناء سفرهم في حالات التعيين أو الانتداب أو الإعادة إلى الوطن، باستثناء حالات التوقف المؤقت في الطريق المأذون بها والتي تحصل فعلا.

(g) No daily subsistence allowance shall be payable in respect of travel on appointment, assignment or repatriation, or in respect of travel on home leave, family visit or education grant, provided that the allowance may be paid for stopovers actually made during such travel under conditions established by the Secretary-General.

In referring to " agreement " in general, article 27 is intended to validate a subordination clause in the contract of assignment or in a separate agreement.

6. Nothing in this Convention shall modify or affect the rules of law in force in the States Parties relating to the arrest of any ship physically within the jurisdiction of the State of its flag procured by a person whose habitual residence or principal place of business is in that State, or by any other person who has acquired a claim from such person by subrogation, assignment or otherwise.
