9.3 The activities to be carried out by the Department reflect the responsibility of the Secretariat for providing substantive support to the General Assembly, in particular the Second and Third Committees, the Economic and Social Council and relevant subsidiary bodies, pursuant to their resolutions and decisions on international economic cooperation.
