56. The Meeting took note of the signature on 17 November 2008 of the agreement between Iraq and the United States on the setting of the date of the withdrawal of US forces from Iraq according to the timetable fixed and organizing their activities during their temporary presence in Iraq, in line with the legitimate interests of Iraq; it also welcomed UN Security Council Resolution 1859 (2008).
