4. Enhancing institutional collaboration between the two Councils

35. The members of the Security Council and the Peace and Security Council underlined the importance of the relationship between the two Councils in addressing peace and security needs in Africa and welcomed the progress made in this regard, including through regular meetings.
35 - أكد أعضاء مجلس الأمن ومجلس السلم والأمن على أهمية العلاقة بين المجلسين في تلبية الاحتياجات المتعلقة بالسلام والأمن في أفريقيا، ورحبوا بالتقدم المحرز في هذا الصدد، بما في ذلك عن طريق عقد اجتماعات منتظمة.

They agreed to elaborate further ways of strengthening relations between the two Councils, including through more effective annual consultative meetings and the holding of timely consultations and collaborative field missions of the two Councils, as appropriate, to formulate cohesive positions and strategies on a case-by-case basis in dealing with conflict situations in Africa.
