Clearance and destruction of such cluster munitions remnants shall be completed as soon as feasible but no later than 10 years after the cessation of active hostilities.

Where cluster munition remnants are located in territories under the control of a High Contracting Party and party to an armed conflict at the time of entry in to force of this protocol for it, that High Contracting Party shall mark and clear, remove or destroy all such cluster munitions remnants as soon as feasible but no later than ten years after the entry into force of the Protocol for it.
