Introduction 1. This addendum updates the information contained in the report of the SecretaryGeneral to the Commission on Human Rights (E/CN.4/2000/60).

2. Takes note of the recommendations contained in the report of the SecretaryGeneral, and calls upon the two leaders:

Draws the attention of Governments to the recommendation contained in the report of the SecretaryGeneral to focus support on cooperatives as sustainable and successful business enterprises that contribute directly to employment generation, poverty reduction and social protection, across a variety of economic sectors in urban and rural areas;

Calls for the provisions that were set out in paragraph 2 (a) of the Agreement on a Ceasefire and Separation of Forces signed at Moscow on 14 May 1994 to be respected, pending consultations and agreement on a revised security regime, taking note of the recommendations on the security regime contained in the report of the SecretaryGeneral of 3 February 2009;

Draws the attention of Member States to the recommendations contained in the report of the SecretaryGeneral for further action to promote the growth of cooperatives as business and social enterprises that can contribute to sustainable development, eradication of poverty, and livelihoods in various economic sectors in urban and rural areas and provide support for the creation of cooperatives in new and emerging areas;
4 - توجه نظر الدول الأعضاء إلى التوصيات الواردة في تقرير الأمين العام والداعية إلى اتخاذ مزيد من الإجراءات لتشجيع نمو التعاونيات كمؤسسات تجارية واجتماعية قادرة على أن تسهم في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة والقضاء على الفقر وتهيئة سبل العيش في مختلف القطاعات الاقتصادية في المناطق الحضرية والريفية وتوفير الدعم لإنشاء تعاونيات في المجالات الجديدة والناشئة؛

7. Highlights the conclusion contained in the report of the SecretaryGeneral that the vast regional cooperation undertaken by the Regional Centre during the reporting period was evidence of the important role of the Organization as a viable regional actor in assisting countries in the region to advance the cause of peace, disarmament and development in Latin America and the Caribbean;
