The present report is submitted pursuant to General Assembly resolution 48/240 B of 29 July 1994, in which the Assembly requested the Secretary-General to submit a report, in the context of the revised cost estimates related to the liquidation of the United Nations Operation in Mozambique (ONUMOZ), on the disposal of the assets and liabilities of ONUMOZ so as to enable the Assembly to take appropriate decisions.
