It also cooperated with the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific at a round-table discussion on the theme " The global economic crisis and the Asia-Pacific region: sustaining Asian dynamism in a post-crisis world " , held in August 2010.
وتعاونت أيضاً مع اللجنة الاقتصادية والاجتماعية لآسيا والمحيط الهادئ في اجتماع المائدة المستديرة لمناقشة موضوع " الأزمة الاقتصادية العالمية ومنطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ: الحفاظ على الدينامية الآسيوية في عالم ما بعد الأزمة " ، الذي عُقد في آب/أغسطس 2010.

6. The Secretariat reviewed the terms of the draft resolution and related financial requirements before resolution 67/2 was adopted by the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific at its sixty-seventh session.
6 - واستعرضت الأمانة العامة أحكام مشروع القرار، والاحتياجات المالية المتعلقة به قبل اتخاذ القرار 67/2 الصادر عن اللجنة الاقتصادية والاجتماعية لآسيا والمحيط الهادئ في دورتها السابعة والستين.

7. Also requests the Executive Secretary to monitor the overall programmes of various framework activities in order to report to the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific at its annual sessions and to all concerned member countries, and to evaluate the implementation of the programmes every three years until the end of the Decade.
7 - يطلب أيضا إلى الأمين التنفيذي رصد برامج مختلف الأنشطة الإطارية من أجل تقديم تقريره إلى اللجنة الاقتصادية والاجتماعية لآسيا والمحيط الهادئ في دورتها السنوية وإلى جميع البلدان الأعضاء المعنية، وتقييم تنفيذ البرامج كل ثلاث سنوات حتى نهاية العقد.

7. Also requests the Executive Secretary to monitor the overall programmes of various framework activities in order to report to the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific at its annual sessions and to all concerned member countries, and to evaluate the implementation of the programmes every three years until the end of the Decade.

A standing item to deal with regional issues should also be included in the agenda of future sessions, starting with the forthcoming session, to be held at the headquarters of the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific at Bangkok from 16 to 20 October 2000.

9. During the side event it was noted that Kiribati and the Solomon Islands would submit a draft resolution to the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific at its sixty-ninth session on the " ocean economy " and how that economy could contribute to sustainable development.
9 - وأشير خلال الاجتماع الجانبي إلى أن كيريباس وجزر سليمان ستقدمان مشروع قرار إلى اللجنة الاقتصادية والاجتماعية لآسيا والمحيط الهادئ في دورتها التاسعة والستين بشأن " اقتصاد المحيطات " ، وكيفية مساهمة هذا الاقتصاد في التنمية المستدامة.

(a) Working Group 4 on Institutional Strengthening redefine its scope of work and develop a work plan to be presented to the Permanent Committee on Geographic Information System Infrastructure for Asia and the Pacific at its tenth meeting, to be held in India in 2004;

Further, the Committee was informed that the Secretary-General's proposals for the establishment of four new subregional offices had been adopted unanimously by the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, at its sixty-fourth session, on 30 April 2008 (see E/ESCAP/64/39, para. 183).
