To date, contributions in the amount of $43,910,800 have been made to the trust fund for the settlement of the question of East Timor.
وقد جرى حتى اﻵن التبرع بمبالغ وصل مجموعها إلى ٨٠٠ ٩١٠ ٤٣ دولار للصندوق الاستئماني لتسوية مسألة تيمور الشرقية.

(26) Article 4 of the Agreement between India and France for the settlement of the question of the Future of the French Establishments in India, signed at New Delhi on 21 October 1954, provided that:
)٢٦( وقد نصت المادة ٤ من الاتفاق بين الهند وفرنسا بشأن تسوية مسألة مستقبل المؤسسات الفرنسية في الهند، الموقع في نيودلهي في ٢١ تشرين اﻷول/أكتوبر ١٩٥٤ على ما يلي:

Subsequent to the Committee’s hearing on the financing of UNAMET, the Advisory Committee was informed that, since the submission of the report of the Secretary-General, there had been an additional contribution of $30,000 to the trust fund for the settlement of the question of East Timor.
وأبلغت اللجنة الاستشارية عقب جلسة الاستماع التي عقدتها بشأن تمويل البعثة، أنه جرى التبرع منذ تقديم تقرير اﻷمين العام بمبلغ إضافي قدره ٠٠٠ ٣٠ دولار للصندوق الاستئماني لتسوية مسألة تيمور الشرقية.

Morocco considers that the international community, as represented by the Security Council, endorsed a plan for the settlement of the question of Western Sahara and that it should take the necessary action to impose its wishes, by ensuring the resumption and completion of the referendum process.
ويرى المغرب أن المجتمع الدولي، ممثلا في مجلس اﻷمن، قد تحمل مسؤولية وضع خطة لتسوية مسألة الصحراء هذه. ويتعين عليه اتخاذ التدابير اللازمة بغية فرض إرادته عن طريق كفالة استئناف عملية الاستفتاء وإنجازها.

As of the writing of the present report, contributions to the trust fund for the settlement of the question of East Timor in the amount of $21,731,700 have been received and contributions of $7,310,000 as well as in-kind assistance valued at $3,438,700 have also been pledged in writing.

وقد شمل ما قدمته من مساعدة مالية ومادية وفي شكل أفراد، مساهمة قدرها 10 ملايين دولار في الصندوق الاستئماني لتسوية مسألة تيمور الشرقية، وإرسال أفراد إلى البعثة ومساعدة طارئة قدرها 2 مليون دولار لدعم أنشطة مفوضية الأمم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين وبرنامج الأغذية العالمي.

3. Notes that the contributions received so far for the Trust Fund for the settlement of the question of East Timor amount to 21,731,700 dollars and that further contributions may be received;
٣ - تلاحظ أن المساهمات الواردة حتى اﻵن للصندوق الاستئماني لتسوية مسألة تيمور الشرقية تبلغ ٧٠٠ ٧٣١ ٢١ دولار، وأن من المرجح أن ترد مساهمات أخرى؛

9. Notes that voluntary contributions to the Trust Fund for the settlement of the question of East Timor paid and pledged so far amount to 43,834,700 dollars and in-kind contributions are valued at 3,438,700 dollars;
٩ - تلاحظ أن التبرعات المدفوعة والمعلن عنها للصندوق الاستئماني لتسوية مسألة تيمور الشرقية بلغت حتى اﻵن ٠٠٧ ٤٣٨ ٣٤ دولار وبلغت القيمة المقــدرة للتبرعــات العينيــة ٠٠٧ ٨٣٤ ٣ دولار؛

3. Notes that the contributions received so far for the Trust Fund for the settlement of the question of East Timor amount to $21,731,700 and that further contributions may be received;
٣ - تلاحظ أن المساهمات الواردة حتى اﻵن للصندوق الاستئماني لتسوية مسألة تيمور الشرقية تبلغ ٧٠٠ ٧٣١ ٢١ دولار، وأن من المرجح أن ترد مساهمات أخرى؛

6. The Advisory Committee notes from paragraph 1 of the report of the Secretary-General of 11 June 1999 that he has established a trust fund for the settlement of the question of East Timor to which Member States may channel voluntary contributions.
6 - وتلاحظ اللجنة الاستشارية من الفقرة 1 من تقرير الأمين العام المؤرخ 11 حزيران/يونيه 1999 أن الأمين العام أنشأ صندوقا استئمانيا لتسوية مسألة تيمور الشرقية يمكن للدول الأعضاء أن توجه إليه تبرعاتها.

15. In that connection, as of the writing of the present report, cash contributions in the amount of $38,336,000 have been received in the trust fund for the settlement of the question of East Timor.
١٥ - وفي ذلك الصدد، وردت حتى كتابة هذا التقرير مساهمات نقدية بلغت ٠٠٠ ٣٣٦ ٣٨ دولار للصندوق الاستئماني لتسوية مسألة تيمور الشرقية.

(16) Such provisions, however, cannot be found in the Agreement between India and France for the settlement of the question of the Future of the French Establishments in India, signed at New Delhi on 21 October 1954, which otherwise provided in its article 4 that " free choice of nationality shall be allowed. "
)١٦( بيد أنه لا يمكن العثور على مثل تلك اﻷحكام في الاتفاق بين الهند وفرنسا بشأن تسوية مسألة مستقبل المؤسسات الفرنسية في الهند الموقع في نيودلهي في ٢١ تشرين اﻷول/أكتوبر ١٩٥٤، فيما خلا ما نص عليه في المادة ٤ منه بشأن " السماح بحرية اختيار الجنسية " )٢١٢(.

14. In the 1988 proposals of the Secretary-General of the United Nations and the Chairman of OAU for the settlement of the question of Western Sahara (S/21360, part I), the two parties recognized that sole and exclusive responsibility for the organization and conduct of the referendum was vested in the United Nations.
١٤ - في اقتراحات عام ١٩٨٨ التي قدمها اﻷمين العام لﻷمم المتحدة ورئيس منظمة الوحدة اﻷفريقية بشأن تسوية مسألة الصحراء الغربية )S/21360، الجزء اﻷول(، سلم الطرفان بأن اﻷمم المتحدة تختص دون غيرهــا بمسؤوليــة تنظيــم الاستفتـاء وإجرائه.
