P. Financial issues 267. The Special Committee recalls all provisions of resolutions, in particular paragraph 1 of resolution 61/279, in which the General Assembly reaffirmed that the Fifth Committee is the appropriate Main Committee of the Assembly entrusted with responsibility for administrative and budgetary matters.

In its resolution 66/125, the General Assembly reaffirmed that the Commission for Social Development had primary responsibility for the follow-up to and review of the World Summit for Social Development and requested the Secretary-General to submit a report on implementation of the resolution to the Assembly at its sixty-seventh session.
