" 1. As in recent years, an overwhelming majority of the international community, in the relevant resolutions it has adopted, including Commission resolution 2004/8, has again expressed its strong condemnation of Israeli practices affecting human rights in the occupied Arab territories.

Under agenda item 4, the Commission considered violations of human rights in the occupied Arab territories, including Palestine, human rights in the occupied Syrian Golan and Israeli settlements in the occupied Arab territories, and under agenda item 9 the situation in occupied Palestine and the question of Western Sahara.
