56. The Advisory Committee reviews and submits reports on the related administrative budgets to the governing bodies of the various programmes mentioned in sections A and B of table 16 (see Preface). For the most part, the Committee examines other extrabudgetary resources maintained in special accounts in the context of its review of the Secretary-General's proposed programme budget.
