My delegation also hopes that, pursuant to operative paragraph 3, Member States would take follow-up action by expressing their views concerning measures at national, regional and international levels to curb the illicit transfer and use of conventional weapons.
ويأمل وفدي بلدي أيضا أن تتخذ الدول اﻷعضاء، وفقا للفقرة ٣ من المنطوق إجراء المتابعة باﻹعراب عن آرائها فيما يتعلق بالتدابير اللازم اتخاذها على الصعيد الوطني واﻹقليمي والدولي لتقييد النقل غير المشروع لﻷسلحة التقليدية واستعمالها.

In paragraph 3 of the same resolution, the Assembly also invited Member States to provide the Secretary-General with their views on (a) effective ways and means of collecting weapons transferred illicitly, in particular in the light of experience gained by the United Nations; and (b) concrete proposals concerning measures at national, regional and international levels to curb the illicit transfer and use of conventional arms.

It would also request the Secretary-General to seek the views of Member States on effective ways and means of collecting illegal weapons — a matter of serious concern to a number of countries, especially those that are experiencing national crises and wars — as well as on concrete proposals with regard to measures, at the national, regional and international levels, to curb the illicit transfer and use of conventional arms.
وتطلب أيضا الى اﻷمين العـــام أن يلتمس آراء الـــدول اﻷعضاء بشأن الطرق والوسائل الفعالة لجمع اﻷسلحة غير القانونية - وهذه مسألة تسبب قلقا خطيرا لعدد من البلدان، لا سيما البلدان التي تمر بأزمات وحروب وطنية - وكذلك بشأن تقديم مقترحات ملموسة تتعلق بالتدابير اللازم اتخاذها على الصعيد الوطني والاقليمي والدولي لتقييد النقل غير المشروع لﻷسلحة التقليدية واستعمالها.
