The HR Committee urged the Government to amend the draft juvenile crimes Investigation Act with the aim of abolishing the death penalty for crimes committed under the age of 18; and to commute all death sentences for juvenile offenders.
24- وحثت اللجنة المعنية بحقوق الإنسان الحكومة على تعديل مشروع قانون التحقيق في جرائم الأحداث بهدف إلغاء عقوبة الإعدام على الجرائم التي ارتكبها أشخاص دون سن الثامنة عشرة، وعلى تخفيف جميع أحكام الإعدام الصادرة بحق جانحين أحداث(52).

The Human Rights Committee recommended that the Islamic Republic of Iran immediately end the execution of minors and further amend the draft juvenile crimes investigation act and the bill of the Islamic criminal code, with the aim of abolishing the death penalty for persons who have committed a crime while under the age of 18.
وأوصت اللجنة المعنية بحقوق الإنسان بأن تضع جمهورية إيران الإسلامية نهاية فورية لإعدام القصر وأن تدخل تعديلات إضافية على مشروع قانون التحقيق في جرائم الأحداث ومشروع القانون الجنائي الإسلامي، بهدف إلغاء عقوبة الإعدام بحق الأشخاص الذين ارتكبوا جريمة ما وهم دون الثامنة عشرة من العمر().

FPC recommended a moratorium on the execution of minors in all cases including qesas crimes, and that the Government implement the juvenile crimes Investigation Act and other planned legal measures to end the practice of executing minors and those convicted as minors.
