Ratify the Platform for Action of the Fourth World Conference for Women, the Declaration on the Elimination of Violence against Women, the Vienna Declaration and Programme of Action, the Programme of Action of the International Conference on Population and Development and the Declaration and Programme of Action of the World Conference against Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance.

(g) Old and new forms of discrimination against indigenous people, within a gender perspective, in the light of the Declaration and Programme of Action of the World Conference against Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance, as well as measures and remedies undertaken to combat discrimination and implement the human rights and fundamental freedoms of indigenous peoples.

The evolving discussion on indigenous rights at the international level was a powerful tool for reinforcing commitments at home, and her delegation therefore welcomed the inclusion of indigenous issues in the Plan of Action of the World Summit on Sustainable Development and the Declaration and Programme of Action of the World Conference against Racism, Racial Discrimination , Xenophobia and Related Intolerance.
وقالت إن النقاش المتطور لحقوق السكان الأصليين على الصعيد الدولي أداة قوية لتعزيز الالتزامات في الداخل. ولذلك يرحب وفدها بإدراج قضايا السكان الأصليين في خطة عمل المؤتمر العالمي لمناهضة العنصرية والتمييز العنصري وكره الأجانب وما يتصل بذلك من تعصب.
