94. In addition to the aforementioned policy, the Law on Suppression of Human Trafficking and Sexual Exploitation, dated 15 February 2008, has wide scope for implementation both within and outside the territory of the Kingdom of Cambodia.

The purpose of this law is to suppress acts of Human Trafficking and Sexual Exploitation in order to protect the rights and dignity of human beings, as well as to comply with the Protocol to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons, Especially Women and Children, supplementing the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime.
