The Advisory Committee commends the Board for the continued high quality and comprehensiveness of its report on the implementation of the United Nations enterprise resource planning system.

4. Notes the Secretary-General's intention to implement the functionalities of the United Nations enterprise resource planning system in ways that would mitigate organizational and managerial risks;

In particular, special emphasis has been given to the upgrading of the United Nations enterprise network infrastructure at regional headquarters and regional commissions to bring them on par with the infrastructure level existing at Headquarters and to standardize the system and support existing and future applications requiring real-time connectivity across the Organization.
