وإذ يؤكد من جديد أن جميع الدول ملزمة بتعزيز وحماية حقوق الإنسان والحريات الأساسية المكرَّسة في ميثاق الأمم المتحدة، والإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان، والعهدين الدوليين الخاصين بحقوق الإنسان وصكوك حقوق الإنسان الدولية الأخرى ذات الصلة التي تكون الدول أطرافاً فيها،

25. In its resolution 24/8, the Human Rights Council requested OHCHR to prepare a study on factors that impede equal political participation and on steps to overcome those challenges, while taking into account, inter alia, the relevant work of the special procedures, the treaty bodies and other relevant international human rights mechanisms.
25- طلب مجلس حقوق الإنسان، في قراره 24/8، إلى المفوضية أن تُعدّ دراسة عن العوامل التي تعيق المشاركة السياسية على قدم المساواة وعن الخطوات التي يجب اتخاذها للتغلب على تلك التحديات في الوقت الذي تأخذ فيه بعين الاعتبار، في جملة أمور، أعمال الإجراءات الخاصة وهيئات المعاهدات وآليات حقوق الإنسان الأخرى ذات الصلة بهذه المسألة.

6. Requests the Office of the High Commissioner to prepare a study on factors that impede equal political participation and on steps to overcome those challenges, while taking into account, inter alia, the relevant work of the special procedures, the treaty bodies and other relevant international human rights mechanisms, and to present the study to the Human Rights Council for consideration at its twenty-seventh session.
6- يطلب إلى المفوضية السامية أن تعد دراسة عن العوامل التي تعيق المشاركة السياسية على قدم المساواة وعن الخطوات التي يجب اتخاذها للتغلب على تلك التحديات، واضعة في اعتبارها، في جملة أمور، أعمال الإجراءات الخاصة وهيئات المعاهدات وآليات حقوق الإنسان الدولية الأخرى ذات الصلة بشأن هذه المسألة، وأن تقدم الدراسة إلى مجلس حقوق الإنسان كي ينظر فيها في دورته السابعة والعشرين.
