IV. COMMENTS submitted by a non-governmental organization
رابعاً - التعليقات التي وردت من منظمة غير حكومية

The Committee takes account of an opinion submitted by a non-governmental organization which pointed out that, even where a residence permit is prolonged to allow a migrant to pursue a complaint, in some cases this process may take several months or even years, and unless the migrant is also permitted to work during this time, in practice, many migrants may not have the means to complete the procedure or to cover his or her living expenses.
وتأخذ اللجنة في الاعتبار رأيا قدمته منظمة غير حكومية أشارت إلى أنه حتى عندما يمدد تصريح الإقامة للسماح للمهاجر بمتابعة شكوى، قد تستغرق هذه العملية في بعض الحالات عدة شهور بل أعواما، وما لم يسمح للمهاجر أيضا بالعمل خلال هذه الفترة، فإنه من الناحية العملية، قد يفتقر العديد من المهاجرين إلى الموارد لإكمال الإجراءات أو تغطية نفقات المعيشة.
