The United Nations and the Court agree that, with a view to facilitating the effective discharge of their respective responsibilities, they shall cooperate closely, whenever appropriate, with each other and consult each other on matters of mutual interest pursuant to the provisions of the present Agreement and in conformity with the respective provisions of the Charter and the Statute.
تتفق الأمم المتحدة والمحكمة، رغبة منهما في تيسير الوفاء الفعلي بمسؤولياتهما، على التعاون على نحو وثيق فيما بينهما، حيثما اقتضى الأمر، وعلى التشاور بشأن المسائل ذات الاهتمام المتبادل، تقيدا بأحكام هذا الاتفاق وطبقا لأحكام كل من الميثاق والنظام الأساسي.

2. The United Nations or its programmes, funds and offices concerned may agree to provide to the Court other forms of cooperation and assistance compatible with the provisions of the Charter and the Statute.
2 - يجوز للأمم المتحدة أو برامجها وصناديقها ومكاتبها المعنية، أن توافق على أن توفر للمحكمة أشكالا أخرى من التعاون والمساعدة تتفق مع أحكام الميثاق والنظام الأساسي.

However, on the basis of the Charter and the Statute of ICJ, there were no legal possibilities for the latter, through the Statute of the International Criminal Court, to obtain the right to decide whether a State's actions constituted an act of aggression.

7. It might be added that the system provided for under the Charter and the Statute did not envisage a systematic procedure for monitoring compliance with and implementation of the Court's judgments.

2. The United Nations or its programmes, funds and offices concerned may agree to provide to the Court other forms of cooperation and assistance compatible with the provisions of the Charter and the Statute.
2 - يجوز للأمم المتحدة أو برامجها وصناديقها ومكاتبها المعنية أن توافق على أن توفر للمحكمة ما يتفق وأحكام الميثاق والنظام الأساسي من أشكال أخرى من التعاون والمساعدة.

The Court both as a principal organ of the United Nations and as a judicial body must exercise great care in order not to disturb the balance between these three principal organs, as has been established by the Charter and the Statute.

2 - يجوز للأمم المتحدة أو برامجها وصناديقها ومكاتبها المعنية، أن تعقد ترتيبات مع المحكمة، لا سيما بناء على طلب المحكمة، عند تقديم أشكال أخرى من التعاون والمساعدة إلى المحكمة وفقا لأحكام الميثاق والنظام الأساسي.

Moreover, the Court's treatment of a Security Council decision adopted under Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter shows that it has failed " its own responsibilities in the maintenance of [international] peace and security under the Charter and the Statute of the Court " (Legality of Use of Force (Yugoslavia v. Belgium), Provisional Measures, Order of 2 June 1999, I.C.J. Reports 1999 (I), p. 132, para. 18).
