وإذ تؤكد أهمية تسجيل مواقع اﻷلغام والاحتفاظ بجميع هذه السجلات وإتاحتها لﻷطراف المعنية بعد توقف اﻷعمال القتالية، وإذ ترحب بتعزيز اﻷحكام ذات الصلة في القانون الدولي،

وأحاط أعضاء المجلس علما بالخرائط والمعلومات المتعلقة بمواقع الألغام والتي أرسلت إلى حكومة لبنان وقوة الأمم المتحدة المؤقتة في لبنان، وأعربوا عن دعمهم لعمليات إزالة الألغام الجارية.

Call on parties to armed conflict to protect United Nations peacekeeping and other relevant missions authorized by the Security Council, as well as humanitarian organizations, from the effects of mines and ERW and to make available information on the location of mines and ERW that they are aware of in the territory where the mission/organizations are or will be operating.
دعوة أطراف النـزاع المسلح إلى حماية عمليات حفظ السلام التابعة للأمم المتحدة والبعثات الأخرى ذات الصلة التي يأذن بها مجلس الأمن وكذلك المنظمات الإنسانية من آثار الألغام ومخلفات الحرب من المتفجرات وإتاحة المعلومات المتعلقة بمواقع هذه الألغام والمخلفات التي لديها علم بها في الإقليم الذي تعمل فيه أو ستعمل فيه هذه البعثات/ المنظمات.
